This was a submission for an open brief by Sri Lanka Post for a new logo in late 2019. Their aim was to improve its perception; moving away from a traditional postal service to a multi faceted service provider keeping up with the times.
The old logo of the service was a depiction of a messenger dove delivering a letter. The logo, although loved by many had dated quite a bit over the years. The challenge was to create a logo that captured the essence of Sri Lanka post and still make it contemporary, retaining brand equity and recall.
